Mechanical engineering is the discipline that applies the principles of engineering, physics, and materials science for the design, analysis, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
The Department has highly experienced and dedicated faculty, state of art facilities, modern workshops and well developed laboratories; to equip our students to cope up with the fast changing requirements of industry. In addition to academics, the department strives the holistic development of student by arranging industrial visit to large reputed industries and research organizations, talks by imminent scientist and engineers, organizing conferences and seminars on current topics. Being aware of social responsibilities, we inculcate the entrepreneurship development activities and motivate students for rural technological development by providing students a platform under MESA to showcase their innovative talents and skills.
